This week's stuff;

1) Aladdin: Legacy of the Lost #3- A really good interpretation of the classic story.
2) Captain America #605- If I have to see them rhyme "shield" with "wield" one more time. I'm going to do something that rhymes with "tomit fall dover nyself".
3) Detective Comics #864- Should start a new story line. Me happy. Last story line not so good.
4) Fantastic Four #578- Annulus is back. Should be good. Read more »

Watch the official trailer for "BATMAN: UNDER THE RED HOOD"!!!

batman under the hood.jpg

The official trailer for "Batman: Under the Red Hood" has been released. Batman: Under the Red Hood is the lastest Batman animated movie scheduled for a July 27th, 2010 dvd release. Based on the "Under The Hood" story arc appearing in "Batman #635 - 638" and written by Judd Winick. View the trailer here! Read more »

And here we go again;

1) Doomwar #3- He better wreak some havoc by this issue or it's going to be all for naught. Doom is starting to join the same club as Wolverine and Deadpool. They're starting to use him everywhere. Sooner or later he's going to join the orange lanterns.
2) Green Lantern #53- It'll most likely be a Blackest Night wrap up and a Brightest Day introduction. Unless some questions are answers, I'm gonna be mighty annoyed.
3) Marvelous Land of Oz #5- Good take on the story. Good artwork. Can't go wrong. Read more »

The comics I plan on picking up this week are as follows;

1) Batgirl #9- The last few issues were kind of blah, but I'm gonna stick with it a while longer and give it a chance.
2) Black Widow #1- Interested to see where they go with this. She's had two minis in the last six months and now her own on-going. They always do this, they really amp up a character to the point where she's everywhere.
3) Brightest Day #0- Hopefully the cover price is 0 as well. I never understood the 0 concept. Are you that excited about releasing the comic that you can't even name it number 1. Read more »

What I plan on picking up this week;

Captain American #604
Green Lantern #52
Marvel Projects #7. This is one of those where I have still yet to read past #2, but have been just collecting them basically to complete the set. If it ends up being God-awful, I will sell it or set it on fire. Either or.
Nemesis #1. Millar is very hit or miss so I can end up regretting it. *However, it's a #1 and it doesn't hurt to at least give it a shot.
Peter Parker #1. *Please see above explanation.
Superman/Batman #70
Uncanny X-Men #522
x-Factor #203 Read more »

This week's stuff;

American Vampire #1- I'm going to peruse it while in the store. If anything looks interesting enough, it'll make its way to the register.
Dark Avengers #15- I had enough of this 10 issues ago, but I might as well see it to the end.
Doom War #2- So far so good. Hopefully 2 will be better.
Green Lantern Corps. #46- Good. Good. Good.
Groo: Hogs of Horder #4- I haven't read any of them yet, but I believe it concludes with 4, so then I shall read them all in one shot. I should have waited for the trade. Read more »

Okay, here we go;

Model Life: The Journal of A Pint Size Fashion Warrior. Looks pretty cool.
Batman Unseen 3. No, I'm not sure why, either.
Batman: The Widening Gyre. Again, not sure.
Secret Six 15. New story arc, yay!
Haunt 2. It looks better than number 1 on it's face.
Amazing Spider-Man 610. I still haven't learned my lesson.
Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man 4. Why do I like to hurt myself?
Black Widow 1. Looks pretty cool.
Hercules Vs. Spider-Man. Hopefully Pak does the right thing.
Iron Man: Armor Wars: 4 of 4. Artwork is not all that great. But we'll see. Read more »

This is what I picked up this week;

1) Detective Comics 858- The last arc was pretty good. Hopefully it stays that way.
2) Ms. Marvel 46- If this doesn't end the arc, then I'm going to pull my all my hair out. ALL my hair if you know what I mean!
3) Fantastic Four 572- Couldn't wait and read it on the train ride home! Awesomeness!
4) Superman Secret Origin- 2- 1st was good. Hopefully the 2nd is.
5) Necrosha- Huh? It's a one shot. One of those several different artists and writers take turns during the issue to tell the story. I generally hate that, but hey. Read more »

What I, Steve, plan on picking up this week so that I might read it;

1) Batgirl 3. It's okay. Not great, but okay.
2) Blackest Night: Batman 3. Should be good. Should be. In the sense that comics should be free.
3) Detective Comics Annual 11. I'm just surprised that for all the many decades that his title has been around they
are only up to Annual 11.
4) Green Lantern Corps 41. Eh.
5) Punisher Max 75. Let's see where it goes.
6) Secret Six 14. Amazons verses the Devil. I had a dream like that once. Read more »

What I picked up this week;

Batman Unseen 1 of 5- Looked promising. Out of continuity. Should be good.
Justice League: Cry For Justice: Artwork continues to look awesome.
Haunt- I like McFarlane, I like Kirkman. Let's hope it's good.
Ultimate Spider-Man 3- Not sure why I bought it. It better be good.
Daredevil 501- Woo!
Amazing Spider-Man 608- Even the mere mention of Ben Reilly makes Pete's skin crawl. If you listen reeeeal carefully you can hear it crawling right now.
X-Babies- Why the hell not.
Secret Warriors- The List- 1- Aaah, might as well. Read more »

Steve here, this is what I picked up this week;

Amazing Spider-Man 607 (Not sure why, most likely because of the cover and my hope that the
story will get better. Hey, I hoped that FF would get better and it did!)
Blackest Night Titans 2 of 3
Gotham City Sirens 4
Green Lantern 46
Hercules: The Knives of Kush 3 of 5
Spin Angels 2
X-Factor 49
X-Force 19

I noticed Thor was out, but the story seems kind of boring to me. Read more »
