Marvel and Netflix Join Forces

The recently announced deal between Marvel and Netflix has gotten the geek world all abuzz! 4 characters. 13 episode for each character. at the end of which they unite for what promises to be an epic EVENT! Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist will each be spotlighted before they unite as The Defenders!

I am one of those geeks that just can't wait. As a fan of Arrow and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I was just wanting more comic between movies. Lo and behold it seems to be delivered. Read more »

So the Rumors were made true. Marvel has officially announced the Oscar nominated star as the voice to the Heavily Armed space Raccoon. Just don't call him a Raccoon!

James Spader Is Ultron In Avengers Age Of Ultron

Marvel has let us know that James Spader is the actor to portray Ultron in their next Avengers film. The film titled Avengers Age of Ultron is due out May 2015. Will he be just the voice or how he will portray the Artificial Intelligence is yet to be revealed.

What we do know is that James Spader is a darn good actor. Stargate is my favorite of his roles. Though Secretary is darn good. He can easily play and intelligent character as well as an asshole.

Matt Fraction leaves Marvel Comics Fantastic Four and FF

Marvel Comics has announced the departure of Matt Fraction from FF and the Fantastic Four comics. He is moving on to the next event from the publisher. Inhumanity which will then be followed by Inhuman.

He has been the writer behind the relaunched Fantastic Four and FF. Moving Marvel's first family into space and the timeline while also setting up a school in the Baxter building. I am looking forward to the event and ongoing book he is writing. Also would like to see someone else tackle the Fantastic Four's world. Read more »

Pete's Basement Season 6, Episode 23 - 8.06.13

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the top comic book this week and both Pete and Ramon gush over its awesomeness. The Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog team up concludes. Also ending: Tony Stark's pride after his hook-up with Gamora in Guardians of the Galaxy.
