Pete's Basement Season 10, Episode 38 - 10.30.17

It's a double-sized Basement episode covering three weeks worth of comics! PLUS the boys have an interview with Michael R Martin, the creator of Blood & Dust: The Life and Undeath of Judd Glenny, who's here via Skype to talk about the Kickstarter for his sequel book, Glenny Family Values! Blood & Dust stars an old vampire by the name of Judd Glenny, who just wants to live in the quiet solitude of the swamp with his family. But it's never that easy, is it? The first series saw the titular character going up against an ancient swamp monster in order to save his family.

Pete's Basement Season 10, Episode 31 - 8.22.17

It's a full roundtable with Pete, Ramon, Rockstar Cheezeburger and Rocket Scientist Ninja Chris! And Chris brought a brand new bottle of whiskey to cover the two weeks worth of books on the docket. The boys show off their super-strength bending The Metal in DC's Dark Nights every which way they can. Did they like it? Is it and its many (many) crossovers worth your time? There's trailers galore to talk about in the wake of SDCC! Hopefully you were lucky enough to catch the leaked Infinity War trailer! Thanos is throwing moons at the Avengers! Steppenwolf steps out of the shadows in Justice League and shows exactly why he's born to be wild! No kryptonians and no lanterns to stop him! But just who is Alfred talking to? The basement Crew has some theories. On top of that we've got Surtur, a talking Hulk, some outer space horror from John carpenter and some more Game of Thrones discussions with Liz and Red! Pete and Ramon hit the roundtable for a spoiler-free review of Wonder Woman! Her boyfriend Steve Trevor gets his own comic book. Batman (sort of) debuts on the Gotham season finale! Paybacks and God Country writer Donny Cates gives birth to the anti-Christ. Working in this psychiatric hospital doesn't sound like such a great idea in The Unsound (see what I did there?) Dimitrios drops in for his 1st appearance in Season 10, with news of his new comic shop opening up! Anyone Comics in Crown Heights, Brooklyn will be opening in less than two months! And he's got plenty of giveaways for the Basement fans out there! His creator-owned Millennials 2 hits the stands and he's giving them to you -- as long as you can answer his trivia questions, that is! Meanwhile, God Country from Paybacks' Donny Cates and KaBOOM's The Deep took top marks this passed week. Amazing art and stories and the boys are raving about them! Justice League vs.
