Pete's Basement Season 10, Episode 41 - 11.22.17

The Basement Crew is thrilled for the premieres of Justice League and The Punisher! Plus thoughts on The Deadpool trailer and on Bob Ross himself! The boys hit the roundtable for a spoiler-free review of Thor: Ragnarok and a solid week worth of comics. Indie hits like The Harcourt Legacy and Algernon Blackwood's The Willows take the top seat alongside Image's Port of earth from Zack Kaplan, the creator of Eclipse. Not to mention Iron Maiden's Eddie goes on his first comic adventure, Shang Chi makes his return to the Marvel Universe, and King Kong (finally) lands on the Planet of the Apes! Pete, Pete, and Ramon are back from Halloween break with two weeks worth of books to talk about! Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters as the show starts, and already spoilers abound! Just wait'll you hear Pete's rant on this one! Fortunately there were some great comics to talk about (read: distract him) like Dark Horse's Mr. Higgins Comes Home and The Gravediggers Union. The dark Nights Metal side stories continue to entertain way more than the core series, The Jetsons was a surprise hit for the whole crew, oh! and Ramon liked a horror book! Will wonders never cease!

Ninja Rocket Scientist Chris Craddock makes his triumphant return to the roundtable, fresh off of earning his black belt and the birth of his son! So the boys have some celebrating to do, as only The Basement Crew can do! The whiskey flows like wine as the boys give a spoiler-review of Stranger Things, and a bunch of other horror themed books this week. Dark Horse Comics is usually a big hit at the roundtable, and this week they give us two horror books, The Witcher: Curse of Crows, and The Witchfinder: City of the Dead.
