Pete's Basement NYCC 2018 New York Comic Con Wrap-Up Show!

Pete, Red, Greg, and Cheeze hit the roundtable to talk about their adventures at year's New York Comic Con, that took place from October 4th through the 8th at the Jacob Javitts Center in New York City! The cosplayers are always a hit with the Basement Crew, and we'll showcase some of our favorites here! Plus a visit to the XM Studios booth to check out all the awesome statues. New stuff that premiered during the con. Friends we met and friends we made. Plus, Pete bought some stuff. Liz and Red drop by the Basement for a Black Panther spoiler-free review, and to give away some awesome BP drinking glasses, hand-painted by Liz herself! The Pete's Basement Show is BACK! Bigger, badder, and drunker than ever! Catch up with Pete and the rest of the Basement Crew as they go over what books have kept them entertained over the course of the last month. Eric Powell's Hillbilly is at the top of Pete's "You Need To Read This" List. Punisher is as Max as Marvel can get! DC Rebirth's Green Arrow, Flash, and Wonder Woman are pretty popular with Rich and Trish, while Greg has chosen to backtrack through the pages of some Marvel team graphic novels.

Pete's Basement Season 9, Episode 34 - 10.04.16

Rocket Scientist Ninja Chris Craddock joins Pete at the Basement table this week, and he helps Pete and the fans understand (in layman's terms) the science behind DC's Frostbite.! Tarzan on the Planet of the Apes is such a great concept that it should have been done long ago! Teen Titans: Rebirth is off to a great start. But the highlight of this week came in the form of Deadpool Annual 1. The boys couldn't help but unleash their inner 5yr old after seeing a book drawn just like Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, one of their favorite Saturday morning cartoons!
