Pete's Basement Season 9, Episode 32 - 9.20.16

It's a full house at the roundtable this week! Hannah from 8-Bit Bakeshop joins Trish, Rich, and Cheezeburger as they get ready to watch their buddy Pete eat the hottest pepper ever spat out of the Earth and scorch the innards of anyone stupid enough to ingest it: The Carolina Reaper! Yup - Pete's at it again with one of his crazy stunts! Even Ramon swings by to watch the insanity! And this episode needs all the help it can get, cause this week's comics left the Basement Crew with much to be desired.

Pete's Basement Season 9, Episode 26 - 8.9.16

Author Adam McGovern joins the roundtable this week to talk about his newest story, Aquaria, featured as the backup story this month in Savage Dragon! Adam also wrote a vampire horror comic called Nightworld, that somehow fell below Pete's radar -- and you know how Pete loves his horror books. So chances are he's already grabbed that graphic novel by the time you're watching this! Also up for discussion this week is Aftershock's Animosity, which, as the boys will tell you, will blow your fucking minds! Seriously!

Pete's Basement Season 9, Episode 24 - 7.26.16

It's a full roundtable for the Pete's Basement Not-At-Comic-Con Party! The boys didn't make it to SDCC this year, but that didn't stop them from gathering as much information as they could from their main source, the enigmatic Shadow! See the boys react to San Diego Comic Con news as it happens right there while filming the episode! Some great "odds and ends" superhero books up for review this week, like Aftershock's Captain Kid, Dark Horse's Black Hammer, and Graphic India's Avatarex, written by Basement favorite (sarcasm) Grant Morrison!

Pete's Basement Season 9, Episode 22 - 7.12.16

The Basement Crew returns from the 4th of July break with two weeks worth of awesome books ready for review! Well....mostly awesome. Ok, really it was kind of a half and half thing. Some were good, some really weren't. But that's what you're watching Pete's Basement for! So you know which ones to avoid! Van Jensen's Cryptocracy and Eric Powell's Hillbilly are two books you DEFINITELY want to get a hold of!

Pete's Basement Season 9, Episode 11 - 3.29.16

Tony Wolf joins the roundtable this week for a pre-Batman v Superman discussion, and he brings with him his newest autobiographical comic, 1-800-DEAD-ROBIN, which tells the tale of a young comic fan in the late 80s who set out to kill a teenage boy. We're speaking of course, about Jason Todd, and DC's call-in vote to save the life of the second Boy Wonder, after a brutal beating at the hands of the Joker! Would Batman get there in time?

The boys highlight some of their favorites, like the return of Swamp Thing to DC's role call, as well as newcomers Four Eyes and The Last Contract. Daredevil Season 2 and other comic tv shows are the talk of the town, and Basement Buddy Chris Craddock is launching a rocket! Say what now? That's right! Sciencey stuff as Chris explains a new type of engine he's designed! What are the boys most looking forward to in 2016?
