Pete's Basement Season 8, Episode 33 - 9.22.15

Pete and Ramon and Penny are kicking off the Halloween season early with a whole slew of zombie books to talk about that center around George Romero's original Night of the Living Dead from 1968. Ramon tells Pete he missed out when he didn't read Dark Horse's Paybacks, which pokes fun at superheroes and there (expensive) gadgetry. And speaking of gadgets, the future is a total technocracy in Tokyo Ghost. This was an odd one that the Crew had a lot of fun with.

Pete's Basement Season 8, Episode 30 - 8.31.15

Rich joins Pete and Ramon at the roundtable, fresh off a trip to Ireland with some comics straight from The Emerald Isle to share! The boys have some fun playing casting call for movie roles, not to mention the fun they had reading Hank Johnson: Agent of Hydra. Pete can't even stop laughing as he explains the plot! A bunch of fan questions, a new Sherlock Holmes story, the Arkham Knight book spoils the game, and a quick review of some good stuff from DC, all the next episode of Pete's Basement.... Oh!

Pete's Basement Season 8, Episode 25 - 7.21.15

Rocket scientist Chris returns to the roundtable! The boys weigh in on all the movie trailers coming out of SDCC this week. Deadpool gets high marks from the boys. Pete shares his theory about Batman v Superman, and who its big bad villain might be.

Pete's Basement Season 8, Episode 24 - 7.14.15

Riding a sausage and peppers high from the Giglio Feast, the boys hit the roundtable to discuss all the news that is news this week. Pete and Ramon find themselves a new Steve for this episode, and they bring him up to speed on the events of Secret Wars, including this week's Civil War and Spider-Island. Dark Horse and Boom brought some unlikely winners to the table, but the biggest surprise hit for the boys was Mark Waid's Archie! And let's not forget the controversial movie castings this week! The boys levy their opinions on Marisa Tomei as Aunt May and Elodie Yung as Elektra!

Pete's Basement Season 8, Episode 22 - 6.30.15

It's Pete, Ramon, and Cheezeburger hitting the Basement this week for a round of comic reviews at the roundtable! First on the hit parade is Order of the Forge #3, concluding a fun story arc the boys have been enjoying these passed few months. Joining the fellas live via The Pete Phone is Donn Berdahl, the mastermind behind Order of the Forge!

Pete's Basement Season 8, Episode 16 - 5.5.15

Ramon and Cheezeburger join Pete at the roundtable this week for a quick spoiler-free review of Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron, as well as the usual shenanigans and comic book revelry. Or is it reveille? Dark Horse's The Order of the Forge was a surprise hit for the boys, offering a new and entirely original take on Founding Father George Washington and The American Revolution! The boys will update you quick on the going-on in Convergence, and Endgame, well, ends! So does Fantastic Four and GI Joe, much to the chagrin of no one.
