Zombieland writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese may be writing the sequel to G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. IESB has reported that the writers have approached Paramount Pictures and are waiting for a response. Earlier this week it was officially announced Reese and Wernick were hired to write the Deadpool movie. No official word yet about the G.I. Joe sequel. Officially they have retired from sleeping and now live life reading comic books and watching cartoons.
20th Century Fox has hired the writers of "Zombieland" to pen the script for the upcoming "Deadpool" movie. The team of Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick will tackle the challenging task of redeeming the Merc with a Mouth and making a movie version of Deadpool that will erase our memories of Xmen: Origins like a Men In Black mind wipe. Ryan Reynolds will return as Wade Wilson/Deadpool in what is being said to be a complete reboot of the character and have no affiliation with the Wolverine movie.
