Warner Brothers Fail Wonder Woman

ww_logo.jpg

When my Director/Dictator sent me a link to the Rainfall film of Wonder Woman I was really hesitant. Then the thought of him actually liking something made me check it out. It was awesome. So well done and true to the character.
Then it hit me. Why had DC/WB dropped the ball on their Films? Why have they not done anything worthwhile with Wonder Woman? The TV series with Linda Carter was cancelled in 1979!!! Read more »

Spider-Man Movie to have SEVERAL villains

Spider-Man Rogues

Paul Giamatti was quoted saying there will be SEVERAL villians in the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man 2. Giamatti is playing the role of the Rhino. He is confirmed as well as Jamie Foxx as Electro.

This might be a concern to fans due to the past problem of overcrowding a movie. In the last Toby Maguire Spider-Man we had Venom, Sandman and the Green Goblin!! This can easily kill a movie or franchise. Tune into our next show to hear what our resident Spider-Man fan Pete thinks!

Batwoman team quits due to prohibited marriage

batwoman.jpg

The most popular gay character in comics has lost her creative team. J.H. Williams III and W. Haden Blackman have left the book. According to them they fought hard to have Kate Kane (Batwoman) get engaged to Maggie Sawyer but were told that a marriage between the two could not happen. Issue 26 will be their last work on the book.

DC stated that their decision not allowing the marriage is not based on sexual orientation. Gail Simone stated that DC isn't allowing any marriages in their books. Read more »

James Spader Is Ultron In Avengers Age Of Ultron

Marvel has let us know that James Spader is the actor to portray Ultron in their next Avengers film. The film titled Avengers Age of Ultron is due out May 2015. Will he be just the voice or how he will portray the Artificial Intelligence is yet to be revealed.

What we do know is that James Spader is a darn good actor. Stargate is my favorite of his roles. Though Secretary is darn good. He can easily play and intelligent character as well as an asshole.

The Asgardian Wars: X-Men Plus Thor Equals Sexiness

X-Men The Asgardian Wars

With the second Thor movie coming out in a few months I highly recommend The Asgardian Wars.

Here's the catch. Thor isn't in this book. This book collects a few issues that came out more years ago then I care to admit. It tells the story of Loki at first trying to be a some what benevolent god. Endowing powers to certain people to help them make the world better. So he looks good and can gain a seat with "those who sit in shadow". The powers involved members of Alpha Flight and X-Men. This being Loki, chaos ensues.

The second Part of the book once again stars Loki. This time this is him taking what he wants. Namely Storm! This send the collected might of the New Mutants and the X-Men trying to rescue her and keep themselves alive in the process.

Why would I recommend a book that doesn't have Thor prior to the release of his movie? This book wonderfully shows the large world of Asgard and the realms that make it up. From the elves and Trolls even to the dwarves. Adam would love it!!
